内容简介
《英语影视欣赏》以影片为单元，共分为八章，由背景介绍、剧情简介、文化注释、语言点、佳句欣赏、听力练习、看听说练习、口语讨论、写作练习等项目构成。前五项是为更好地欣赏影片扫清障碍、扩大输入，后四项则起到温习、巩固、检查、提高的作用。尤其是听写练习，我们选择了对话相对密集、语言比较有的部分，用书面练习带动语言训练，将讲解重点和练习结合在一起。在编写过程中，我们有意识地凸现文化注释，以帮助学生更好地理解影片背景和相关内容。英语影视欣赏是帮助学生全面提高英语视、听、说、写综合能力的一个重要手段。它具有激发学习兴趣、实现语境教学、使语言学习和文化学习同步进行等功能，并为学生开展适合自己兴趣和特点的学习提供了可能。

3.Women in the 1950sAmerican society in the 1 950 s was geared toward the family. Marriage and children were part of the national agenda.The Cold War was，in part，a culture war，with the American rfamily at the center of the struggle.Women were given many choices during World War II and then after the war all choices were taken away.
In the 1950s.women felt tremendous societal pressure to focus their aspirations on a wedding ring.A common stereotype was that women went to college to get a M.R.S.degree（Mrs.-mamed）， meaning a husband.The media focused on a womanS role at home：If a Woman wash’t engaged or married bir her early twenties，she was in danger of becoming an“old maid”.
