《中西医英语阅读教程册》共八个单元，每个单元由四部分组成：Pre-reading、In-reading、Post-reading、itional Reading。Pre-reading是单元的主题导入部分,旨在引导学生对主行思考,为接下来的课文阅读做好铺垫。In-readin含Text A和Text B两篇课文，旨在提高学生的英语阅读理解能力；配套练考查学生的语言基，又能检测学生在阅读实践中获取关键信息的能力。Post-reading是一篇与主题相关的快速阅读文章，目的是训练学生利用已有阅读技巧、快地获取所需信息的能力；学生可以记录阅读时间和答题的率，自我诊断快速阅读能力的不足之处。itional Reading是课堂阅读的拓展和有益补充，学生可以根据自己的学和英文有选择行阅读。
