《21世纪中国当代文学书库》由当下活跃在中国当代文学研究领域的学者、文学评论家等人士做主编，选取2000年前后在中国各大主流文学刊物、各大报纸副刊和国内公开发行物中发表的不同题材、不同体裁、不同风格的文学作品；作者有中国当代文坛的作家王蒙、铁凝、王安忆、迟子建、陈忠实等；作品新，选材精，将为外国读者提供反映21世纪中国当代文学的特点和发展趋势的读本。此卷为诗集，选取了雷平阳、侯马、邰筐、朱零、欧宁、臧棣、杨黎、柏桦、伊沙、马永波等人的诗歌。
