本书关注与SRS，CARS，TPEF和SHG信号的原理介绍，适当的理论计算方法。以及这些信号测量，成像的具体方法和实验结果及其分析。理论部分从非线光学以及强光关系蛊蛾的基础理论开始，逐渐过渡到具体光学信号的具体理论计算方法。理论部含经典理论和量子理论的结合，使读者能够很好的理解这些技术的核心。实验部分以光谱的实验技术和成像的实验部分介绍为主，主要是为了使读者能对非线光学信号光谱以及成像方法有一个比较的认识。实验部分主要介绍非线光学光谱和成像技术在材料和生物领域的应用。
